Save the Date: New Horizons 2018

Please save the date for the 2018 New Horizons in Lactation event: Bridging the Inpatient Experience to the Postpartum Journey, with Keynote Speakers: Kristina Chamberlain and Leslie Butterfield. The event will be held on October 18 at the Brightwater Center in Woodinville.

This full-day workshop will offer inpatient, outpatient, and community-based care providers an opportunity to learn more about the spectrum of birth encounters and their impact on breastfeeding experiences. This workshop is appropriate for inpatient nursing and lactation staff, doctors and midwives, IBCLCs working in hospitals, in clinics, and in private practice, community supporters including WIC staff and peer counselors, parent-to-parent support facilitators, birth and postpartum doulas, and anyone with an interest in supporting parents on their postpartum journeys.
